Evidence of neuro-inflammation in migraine remains elusive in neuro-imaging study

The release of inflammatory cytokines during attacks and the efficacy of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs suggest that neuro-inflammation plays a part in migraine. But confirmatory evidence is lacking, according to findings from a neuro-imaging study presented at IHC 2019.
